He's a bit of an all-rounder our Kev. Initially a SwipedOn front-end developer, he has since been taking on whatever coding challenge comes his way.
What does a day in your life at Friendly Manager look like?
I’ll make myself a coffee to start the day, then check in with my multiple, colourful to-do lists (I love stationery). My day could look like writing a newsletter, editing Help Docs, testing new software or writing new documentation for said new software. FM is an innovative company that moves forward at the speed of light, so there is always new content to edit, create, write and deliver.
What is your favourite part about working at Friendly Manager?
The dynamic niche that FM operates in, it’s exciting being on the cutting edge and being a part of a group who continually pushes to be better at what they do.
What has your working life looked like before Friendly Manager?
I have had multiple roles in different industries - from adventure tourism to horticulture to working with horses to education and behaviour therapy with at risk youth.
In your time outside of Friendly Manager, what would we find you doing?
I am a self confessed nerd, I am constantly learning, reading and researching. Alongside this, I am an animal behaviour training nerd and love spending time with my bunnies and horses. I am a volunteer youth leader and believe, rightly or not, that this keeps me young and super cool.
If you could instantly be a pro in one sport, which one would it be?
Honestly, probably ice skating. I did my OE in Canada years ago and was in awe of the natural skating talent of every single Canadian kid.
What are your three major food groups?
Coffee, cake and chocolate.
If, hypothetically, a nerf gun battle happened in the office who would win?
Whoever bribes the boss the most.
If you could live in any TV show, which one would it be?
Big Bang Theory. I love geeking out.
